Review of BMW X3 2018
Greetings to all BMW car enthusiasts, and those who have just planned to become one. Finally, luck was on my side to acquire a car that had been a long-time dream for me. Previously, I had experience with similar cars, namely, importing an e46 from a Japanese auction, and a few variants of the X3 with an 83 body. One of them is currently in my possession.
The updated body model completely satisfies me, with ample space for everyone, and no parking issues. A notable feature is the presence of an automatic parking function, which I do not use as it does not always detect empty spaces, so I prefer to park manually. The presence of parktronic and dynamic markings on the camera allows for maneuvers with minimal margins.
A nice feature is the automatic braking while reversing. The car's sudden stop was so sharp that I thought I had hit something with the rear bumper. Several more activations occurred due to the presence of debris on the lawn. This is a very useful function, its operation would not be obstructive even while in motion. However, such an option is not available in the packages for Russia.
A major plus is the automatic headlight adjustment, reducing the brightness of the left headlight when an oncoming car appears to avoid dazzling its driver. On the second half, the brightness remains unchanged, and the high beam continues to shine.
The time required for the car to reach a speed of 100 km/h is 5.8 seconds. The engine specifications include a fuel consumption of 9.3 liters and a power output of 249 hp.
However, there are some drawbacks, such as the poor automatic activation of the driver's seat heating in cold weather compared to the steering wheel. The reason was later found — it was necessary to fasten the seat belt.
That's all I can share; I won't talk about the difficulties in choosing a car since these situations are different for everyone.

Review of BMW X3 2015
Good day to everyone!
Prior to this car, I drove a VW Tiguan, and I consider my decision to purchase a new car justified, as it is much larger, taller, and more powerful.
This car is a top-class «Kaliningrad» model in Russia, with no similar options. The number of crossovers with a three-liter engine is not that large. In 2015, it was only the Porsche Macan, which cost three times more.
Describing this car is impossible without praising the engine. It is a perfect diesel with 550 Nm of torque, excellent pulling power regardless of the revs, characterized by fuel efficiency and speed. Compared to it, a regular BMW with a two-liter engine is a completely different matter.
The engine is perfectly tuned to work with an 8-speed automatic transmission. You can drive smoothly or quickly at will, so besides having perfect tuning, there isn't much else to say.
The main positives of the car include the abandonment of alcohol use, functional diagnostics. The use of a rear-view camera, typical for connection to a first-generation phone, was not planned, but its purchase became the most optimal option. This means that the driver has a choice to use the latest technical means or to park «in the old-fashioned way.»
Among the negatives, the following can be mentioned. Firstly, the narrow passage width in the rear of the car. Because of this, it is difficult to maneuver a child's seat or chair in the car. There is very little space in the rear row of seats, as well as height and depth adjustment of the seats. The transmission tunnel also causes inconvenience.
Despite the large size of the trunk, it lacks a spare tire or a standard spare wheel. If you were to purchase this item for the trunk and place it inside, the useful volume would be significantly reduced.
Throughout my ownership of this car, I have hardly encountered technical problems. Maintenance was carried out once every 10,000 kilometers, which is quite sufficient for cars of this class.
In conclusion, this BMW car model is simply remarkable, with all its main elements executed at the highest level. It is not without its flaws, but there has been no constant negativity or disappointment experienced.
If I were offered to buy it again with the knowledge I have now, I would do so without hesitation, as I am very satisfied with this car. Thank you all for your attention!
