Review of BMW Z4
I really appreciate the respectable level of comfort and modern interior design in BMW. The car's off-road performance is impressive for this body type and purpose. The roadster itself was not intended for off-roading, but it turned out to be successful specifically in Russia.
The suspension settings are pleasing, the ground clearance is good, and you can easily navigate fairly large potholes at low speeds.
The fabric roof is not suitable for Russia at all – it's even annoying. It's always worrisome to leave the roof in a parking lot during summer, and in winter, it may crack due to the cold. Storing the car in a warm garage during winter is not so simple in a big city. That's why I opted for a 2009 model with a hardtop roof.
The battery disappointment arises when it cannot be jump-started from another car when fully discharged. It might get stuck, glitch, or fail to start. There is no possibility of independently jump-starting the battery.
You need to call a tow truck, send the car to a specialized service, start the car, and immediately adapt the battery to the onboard computer. There are no other options. This is very inconvenient and expensive. A simple forgotten light can drain the battery.
BMW Z3 Review: A Car for All Occasions
I acquired this car by chance in early 2006 from a private individual in Germany. Such cars are quite popular there, and it's rare to find them with mileage below 70,000 km. It features a two-liter engine, automatic transmission, air conditioning, full electrical components, heated sports seats, and a music system.
The car is in perfect condition, with a genuine mileage of 28,000 km (this is the owner's fourth car). My initial impression of the car was love at first sight: the comfortable sports seats with stunning leather, aluminum, chrome, and metal – all genuine, without any plastic imitations.
The air conditioning, seat and mirror heating, and electric adjustments work flawlessly. The assembly quality, attachment, and fitting of parts are fantastic.
Regarding the car's performance, it rides low. Due to its low stance, I expected a rougher ride from the suspension. However, to my surprise, thanks to its stiffness, it never once hit a speed bump. It accelerates quickly, offers perfect handling, hence understanding the meaning of «driving pleasure» in its advertising.
In terms of appearance, it exudes classic charm, and any customization would seem out of place. It glides on the road like a fighter jet, and the automatic transmission with various modes (winter, sport, and economy) operates smoothly. The brakes work impeccably.
Over the 6000 km I've driven this car, I've changed all the spark plugs and added a crankcase protection for safety. The handling is excellent, taking on sharp turns up to 120 degrees as if on rails.
The power steering is top-notch, providing a good road feel. The electric cover is easy to retract with mechanical locks.
With the cover up, there's no wind chill even in cold weather due to the triple-layered fabric with special impregnation, making it possible to forgo purchasing a metal roof. Both slow and fast speeds are enjoyable with the cover down – there's no wind resistance, just a complete fusion with the car.
The trunk is surprisingly spacious, fitting various everyday items and sports bags comfortably. It's just a shame to drive it in winter. Well, on sunny days, of course, you can take it for a spin to experience the pleasure, but otherwise, it's just a pity for the car.
Naturally, such a car should not be the only one in the garage, but the enjoyment it brings is guaranteed just by owning it.

I Like Z3!
Z3 boasts good ergonomics, dynamics, and responsive driver actions. The car reaches high speeds quickly. I must highlight the comfort, stability, and high level of BMW safety.
The low cost and availability of spare parts and accessories are another advantage. Servicing it is quite straightforward, and with the right knowledge, you can do it yourself. The engineering part of the car is not overly complex or intricate.
