Immediately after the release of five-door hatchbacks, the company decided to delight Bavarian car enthusiasts in 2012 with three-door BMW 1 F21 cars.
Just three years later, restyling changes took place. The exteriors and interiors are similar to the five-door F20 models. Let's consider the equipment and power units.

The engines, designated with a «B,» were identified after restyling events. Longitudinal atmospheric engines with Twin Power Turbo technological components. This indicates an increase in performance and a decrease in CO2 emissions.

Technological Features
All engines come with six-speed manual transmissions. Optionally, automatic transmissions are available for Steptronic cars. In the initial version, buyers can use ECO PRO modes, Auto Start Stop functions related to modern Brake Energy Regeneration (BER) systems with brake energy recovery and Efficient Dynamics technologies paired with the transmission.
Thanks to the rear-wheel drives of the cars, exclusive suspensions, proper weight distribution, longitudinal power units, BMW 1 F21 hatchbacks have excellent technological advantages. Optimizing the rear axles with front struts, this class of models is superior.

The seats of BMW 1 F21 look sporty, with hexagonal fabric upholstery — Alcantara, with contrasting blue stitches.
