The BMW 6 F13 cars belong to the third generation. The two-door sixes replaced the E63. In 2010, a small circle of individuals was acquainted with this model. They were widely advertised in 2011 at the Shanghai Auto Show. The cars are assembled in Dingolfing, at the company's largest plant.

Important! The bodies are made of strong steel. Hoods with doors are aluminum. Plastic was used for producing the front fenders. Trunk lids are made of fiberglass.

The cars are equipped with three powertrains:
640i xDrive with powerful 320 TwinPower 3.0-liter engines, Valvetronic technology, and turbochargers. Acceleration — 5.2 seconds, top speed 250 km/h. Fuel consumption in mixed cycles — 7.9 L.
650i xDrive with eight-cylinder V-shaped 4.4-liter engines with 450 horsepower. They have the same TwinPower technology as the former. Same top speeds. Acceleration — 4.4 seconds. Consumption — 9.1 L.
The same technologies in the 640d xDrive. Six-cylinder diesel engines with 313 horsepower and 3.0 liters. Acceleration in 5.2 seconds. The top speed is the same as the previous ones.
Important! All-wheel-drive coupes are equipped with eight-speed automatic transmissions with sport/manual modes.
Inter-axle drives with a 40:60 ratio in normal modes. When clutch slippage occurs, the potential shifts to the chassis with good road grip.
Front suspension elements are double-wishbone. At the rear, there are multi-link suspensions with steering effects.
BMW 6 F13 have electromechanical steering boosters, powerful brake mechanisms, ventilated discs, and various electronic aids.

Restyling of BMW 6 F13 and pre-restyling
The Detroit Motor Show in 2015 showcased the facelifted BMW 6 F13 to visitors. The cars were equipped with new features, slightly changed appearance, and interiors.
The radiator grilles now have two bars taken out. Each section now has 9 bars. LED lighting has been installed. Optionally, adaptive lighting can be used.
The bumpers and side mirrors of the BMW 6 F13 also underwent changes. There are now 5 body color options. Cars with six-cylinder engines now have 17-inch wheels and enlarged tailpipes. Eights have 18-inch wheels. Leather also comes in two new colors.
