The BMW X3 model is a modern and popular range of Bavarian crossovers. The third line was presented in 2017 at a summer presentation in Spartanburg. The model was transformed and improved in terms of the G01 body and technical characteristics. Only visual updates have become minimal.

Front

Rear Part
In the new BMW X3 2018—2019 model series, the stern optics have been modified. It is now an improved shape with a handle and a sharp recess. Above it runs a body line, and a large spoiler with brake lights is installed even higher. The rear bumper remains unchanged and also features insert reflectors.

The dimensions of the new BMW have increased due to visual updates. Now its parameters are:

All BMW cars use a classic interior architecture. In the new release, this was no exception, with only details being changed. Vernasca leather was chosen for the upholstery of the front and rear seats, with wood and aluminum inserts. The interior has become spacious and roomy. It features heated seats and manual blinds for rear passengers.
The upholstery of BMW X3 G01 comes in colors:
- classic black;
- deep red;
- elite ivory shade;
- sophisticated beige.
A double glazing unit has been incorporated for improved sound insulation. The interior is complemented by a modern 12.3-inch display for monitoring. It operates in Eco Pro, Comfort, or Sport modes. There is also an iDrive multimedia screen. The steering wheel has leather trim with integrated buttons. The car is equipped with a Harman/Kardon audio system. For it, amplifiers with 16 speakers and 9 channels are possible, with a power of 600 watts. The audio system will cost around 100,000 rubles.
The interior features inlays made of different materials:

- aluminum with engraving;
- patterned poplar;
- Fineline Cove wood;
- classic dark oak;

- black royal glossy lacquer.
The dimensions of the trunk remain the same. Its volume is 550 liters. The sofa parameters are 40:20:40. When folded, it has a volume of 1600 liters. For cargo, there is a rail function.

- XDrive20d with 190 horsepower, 400 Nm of torque. It has a 2-liter capacity.
- XDrive30d. This engine has a 3-liter capacity. It delivers 249 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque to the wheels.
- M40d is a 3-liter turbocharged unit. Its specifications include 6 cylinders, 326 hp, and 680 units of power.
Diesel engines provide acceleration ranging from 8 to 4.9 seconds. Fuel consumption is around 6 liters in the city.
Gasoline engines:
- XDrive20i. This engine is a 2-liter petrol unit. The dimensions include 4 cylinders and 184 horsepower.
- XDrive30i features 2 liters of volume with 249 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque.
- M40i — a 6-cylinder, 3-liter petrol engine. This type stands out with 360 horsepower and 500 units of torque.
With these engines, acceleration ranges from 8.3 to 4.8 seconds. Fuel consumption is higher, requiring 10 liters of AI-95 in the city.
The engines work in conjunction with an 8-speed Steptrinic automatic transmission. The crossover also features the xDrive all-wheel-drive system with a multi-plate clutch. The new generation car is built on the CLAR modular platform. Equipped with independent suspension arms and stability stabilizers.

Safety System in BMW X3 G01
The manufacturer has taken care of the safety of drivers and passengers. There are 6 airbags in operation, and the body is made of durable steel grades. Additionally, electronic assistant Plus helps with driving by monitoring lanes and distances, signaling about dangerous situations. For added safety, there are automatic parking systems.
