In 2018, our compatriots had the opportunity to take the wheel of a BMW X2 crossover. The Bavarians introduced the public to this model at the Paris Motor Show in 2016.

The target audience for Bavarian engineers was considered to be young urban dwellers, as their competitors with Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class cars had done well in this segment.

Exterior with Perspective

The cars feature elements that will later be used in new generations of other categories such as X1, X3, etc.

BMW X2 vehicles are beautiful, with a touch of aggression that appeals to the younger generation.

Front view with signature LED lights. Above them, lines climbing to the headlights. It appears as if the car is squinting its eyes.
The center of the car is dedicated to the radiator grille with chrome trim.
The muscular bumpers of the car, with 3-section air intakes for cooling the brake system and improving aerodynamic resistance, are equipped with round fog lights.
From the sides, the cars exhibit a coupe-like style. Therefore, they do not resemble SUVs but rather big hatchbacks.
Bulging wheel arches with gray plastic overlays. Similar elements are found on the sills, which create a distinction between the body color and decorative elements.
Body colors and rearview mirror colors match. Alternatively, they can be made glossy black at no extra charge. They come with turn signal repeaters, electric adjustments, and heaters.
The rear pillars feature BMW logos.
The rear end has new lights with LED elements for the position lights.
Beautiful deep transitions from the upper lines to the headlights are visible from the sides.
The trunk lids are unique with relief lines on the top and bottom, seamlessly integrated with the bumpers. The handles are integrated into the company logos.
Spoilers are installed on top (optional) with additional stop signals.

Design Differences in BMW X2 Configurations

All BMW X2 cars come with different components to standardize the exterior. There are no analogs. For example, a standard car without round fog lights, as seen in the photos, will offer you the same elements but only with plastic inserts.

  Front suspensions are MacPherson, while the rears are multi-link. Both axles have stabilizers for lateral stability.
  The cars are equipped with full xDrive with chassis moment distribution functions, or for braking with certain engines to navigate turns easily. They are also available in front-wheel drive.

    To increase the cargo compartments, you can fold the seats or install hatches with covers for skis. Additional charges are required for ski racks, just like for child seat attachments. The door inserts and central consoles in the car feature:

    Technological Characteristics
    The models are built on the UKL platform with transverse engine movements. Gasoline engines work with seven-speed automatic transmissions, while diesel engines are equipped with eight-speed mechanized units.
    Standard cars feature 3-cylinder turbo engines with 140 hp, torque of 220 Nm, a top speed of 205 km/h, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.6 seconds (as indicated in the passport). Fuel consumption ranges from 5 to 7 liters for urban and extra-urban driving.
    The 2.0L turbo engines deliver 192 hp and 280 Nm of torque. With an acceleration of 7.4 seconds and top speeds of up to 224 km/h, these cars consume 7.7 liters per 100 km in city driving.
    Diesel engines:
