In the year 2007, BMW experienced three major events. They carried out restyling of the E81 and E87 models and introduced the new BMW 1 E82 model to the public. This model has two doors, four seats, and belongs to the first series of cars.
The BMW E82 started to be sold in 2008. The company decided that this vehicle would not be used for transporting seedlings to country plots. For this reason, the weakest diesel or petrol engine had a capacity of only two liters.
Customers could only purchase the car in two versions — 128i and 135i. The latter is the most powerful option. The company sold approximately 150 thousand cars. Production was completed in 2013.

The coupe has two doors and a long front. The aerodynamic M kit is mounted on the BMW 135i E82, combining a powerful body with design elements. The front of the car features a radiator grille designed to resemble BMW nostrils.
The headlights have a chromed frame, a signature element of all the company's cars. The dark pillar is glazed, giving the impression of a glass surface.
The BMW 1 E82 trunk has a spoiler, and the lights have an L-shape, giving it a sporty look. One of the car's advantages is its adaptive brake lights, which operate in 2 stages, enhancing safety.
Xenon adaptive headlights, located at the front, are considered an option in the 128i model. The set includes fog lights, making driving at night and on turns less hazardous. Each daytime light has two lamps, improving visibility for the driver.

The car features standard xenon adaptive headlights that can work in conjunction with fog lights. This system significantly enhances safety during turns and in low-light conditions.

The front wheels have a ventilated brake system to prevent overheating.
Design of BMW 1 E82
This car model boasts smooth curves and a solid coupe design made from high-quality materials. The top has a darker color, while the bottom is adorned in three colors — gray, beige, and black.
Integrated buttons for seat heating are present. The door trim features armrests with inserts made of fabric or synthetic leather. This car offers four upholstery options:
- Fabric;
- Leather;
- Combination of both elements.
Engine of BMW E82
This car model comes with various engine options.
There are four gasoline engine choices available: N43/46/52/54. There is only one diesel engine option — N47. Each engine is equipped with a pump and coolant system to enhance performance, fuel efficiency, and reduce consumption.
Double Vanos is the valve operation technology used in gasoline engines.
Every engine produced by the company follows the same principle — more dynamics, less fuel consumption.
The suspension is equipped with a sophisticated system. There are double joints made of aluminum at the front and lightweight steel at the rear.
Electronics
To have full control over the car, an EPS system is necessary. This electric power steering creates a function that adjusts effort based on the car's speed, enhancing comfort and steering regardless of speed.
Additionally, there is a retrofit kit available that can add an extra function to the fog lights — additional illumination.
Features of BMW 1 E82
The load capacity of the BMW E82 is approximately 600 kilograms. Various tools can be used for car repairs.
Equipment
Each car is equipped with six airbags. They are located in different areas:
- On the back of the front seats — these are the side airbags;
- Frontal airbags are activated during impact.
Thanks to this setup, everyone in the car is well protected, reducing the risk of injury in the event of a side impact. Side airbags positioned on the roof panel also protect the head.
The seats have a soft back and headrests, reducing the risk of injury.
The pedals and seat belts automatically deform in the event of a frontal collision.
